Dog sculptures by Agnetha

Agnetha Sjögren is a Swedish artist who has been based in London for over 15 years.
Her playful and sculptural practice has led her to create exquisitely hand crafted one-off art dog sculptures and limited edition prints. Her work has received extensive press coverage in editorial publications such as Vogue, Elle and Design Week as well as being shortlisted for the Summer Show at The Royal Academy of Arts, invited to OCCCA in L.A, exhibited on London Underground and has taken it’s proud place at the heart of the British and Swedish art scene.

Notting Hill Veterinary

In March 2007 Johnny Irish and Emma Nicholas opened the Notting Hill Veterinary Centre following the success of their first practice, Barons Court Veterinary Centre. Over the past five years they have built an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of veterinary care and were one of the first practices in London to be awarded RCVS Accreditation.

Please call them to make an appointment or visit their site for comprehensive information about their excellent team, the services they provide and many aspects of pet care.

Wormwood Scrubs

Wormwood Scrubs, in the West London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, is our favourite walking spot as the dogs just love the variety of terrain. It offers huge open grass fields where they can chase the ball, dense scrubs to explore, woodland to snif and dig around in, and overgrown soggy grassland to get all wet… pure dog heaven.

The Scrubs is a wonderful place, treasured by its many users for its feeling of escape from the city and almost unique in London for its natural, rural appeal. Such a place needs constant vigilance to ensure that it stays that way. If you care about the Scrubs, please join the “Friends of the Scrubs” (it won’t cost you anything because there is at present no subscription).

Dogster

‘Dogster’ was set up by a bunch of dog freaks and computer geeks who wanted a canine sharing application that’s truly gone to the dogs. As such a site didn’t exist, so they built it themselves. The fluffy love is backed with serious technology and years of coding experience under their collars.

The goal of the site is to allow for the purest online reflection of people’s love and enjoyment of their dogs and cats.
Our favorite bit on this site is the “facebook for dogs” where you cn rate them, read their profile and their horoscope. Just too funny.

Dogster has since become more contagious than kennel cough so check them out.

Dog friendly Britain

‘Dog Friendly Britain’ is a website that puts you in touch with places where dogs are welcome.
Whether it’s dogs allowed accomodation, dog friendly beaches, pubs that allow dogs, dog friendly days out or fun events for our four legged friends you will find at at this site.

The Kennel Club

The ‘Kennel Club’ was founded in 1873 and it’s primary objective is to promote, in every way, the general improvement of dogs.
This website has been designed to help and support dog owners throughout the entire lifecycle from buying a dog to owning and living with their dog, whether it is a pedigree or crossbreed dog. So it’s full of useful information.
